April 5, 2008 Fellsmere Day - Come help the Beautification and Fellsmere Day Committee of Fellsmere celebrate the 97th Birthday of the city.

For more that thirty years Fellsmere has held organized spring events with booths and a parade. These usually coincide with the annual Lions Club All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast.

Last year there were forty Booths, providing information and exhibits from government and nonprofit organizations and selling food, crafts and art works, services and general merchandise.

The Parade is a highlight of the day. It will proceed along CR 512, up and down N. Broadway, and then down S. Broadway. It starts at 11:00 am and will be followed by the Bed Race on N. Broadway.

The Little Miss Fellsmere Pageant, as well as performances by local organizations and school children will be in the afternoon. Live music will be provided by Hispanic and non-Hispanic bands.

The Beautification and Fellsmere Day Committee sells commemorative tee shirts and gives out a program in which advertisement may be purchased.

Information and forms for the booths, the parade, the bed race, the Little Miss Fellsmere Pageant, performances, donations, volunteers or program advertisement may be downloaded below or obtained by contacting Anna Turner at the Fellsmere City Hall, telephone (772) 571-0116, FAX (772) 571-1901, e-mail:  beautificationcommittee@cityoffellsmere.org.
