Planning & Zoning Division provides services regarding comprehensive planning, land development, community redevelopment and revitalization, and historic preservation. Planning & Zoning staff review and process applications for site development plans, conditional use permits, plats, annexations, and re-zonings, among other development requests.
The division also presents development proposals before various boards, including the City Council, Planning & Zoning Board, Board of Adjustment, and Community Redevelopment Agency. Planning & Zoning staff implements the goals, objectives, and policies of the City’s Comprehensive Plan and also coordinates Comprehensive Plan evaluation and updates.
